Trace Sauveur is a freelance film critic based in Atlanta, GA. He began his career in film criticism by reviewing movies for his high school's announcements broadcasts, and he has continued ever since. While living in Austin, TX, Trace joined the film criticism team for the renowned alt-weekly newspaper The Austin Chronicle. Since then, he has written reviews of new releases, broader cultural features, and interviews for outlets like Awards Watch, A.V. Club, Paste Magazine, /Film, and others. He has also provided coverage out of several major international film festivals such as SXSW, TIFF, Fantastic Fest, London Film Festival, and Austin Film Festival.
