Steve Warren has been a professional reviewer, mostly in non-mainstream media, for over half a century. He was Creative Loafing (Atlanta)'s first local critic; followed the legendary Vito Russo as film critic for the Advocate; and was self-syndicated to dozens of LGBTQ publications around the country, most of which went under owing him money. He reviewed for a decade on WGKA Radio in Atlanta and has been published in Us Magazine, the Atlanta Constitution, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and many more. He currently contributes occasional reviews to GA Voice, Windy City Times and, as he puts it, "anyone with a quarter."
