Joe George is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at North Carolina A&T State University and a Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic living in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Joe writes about movies, TV, comics, and books, and has bylines at Den of Geek, Sojourners Magazine, Reactor, Think Christian, and elsewhere. He serves as co-host of The Good Bad Movie Show, which releases new episodes fortnightly. His book Postmodern Suburban Fiction was published by Palgrave in 2016, followed by The Superpowers and the Glory, published by Cascade Books in 2023.
