Gino Sassani is a film and television critic based in Tampa, Florida. He's also the Senior Editor of Upcomingdiscs.Com. Gino started reviewing films in the early 1990's as a segment of his local television show Focus. He's an award-winning recording artist for Omega Records working on his 8th album. Working out of his home theater he calls The Reel World, he's written over 3000 reviews since he started with the site in 2000. Gino has had the honor of talking with diverse industry giants from Joe Dante to Ice Cube, posting the interviews along with dozens of others as podcasts on the site. Now Gino runs the site with a staff of dedicated writers and film fans with the help of his wife of nearly 30 years, Ellen.
