Brad Gibson
Bradley Gibson is an Atlanta based film critic, primarily working for Film Threat online. He is usually focused on Indie films, but he still loves the occasional blockbuster popcorn movie. He’s less concerned with film as an esoteric art, and more interested in the diverse experiences a viewer can have through the medium. As a sampler, his top films include, but are not limited to: Dazed and Confused, Romeo is Bleeding, High Fidelity, and Wild At Heart. He leans toward directors like Lynch, Fincher, Tarantino, Del Toro, McDonagh, Boyle, Linklater, Wes Anderson, and James Gunn.
He’s fascinated with documentaries as a unique capability of film to take us to places we’ve never been, and walk in the shoes of people we’d never know otherwise. He is a member of the Online Film Critics Society, Georgia Film Critics Association, and The Atlanta Film Critics Circle. When he’s not annoying friends and family with obscure details about film, he is a bicycle mechanic and audiophile, as well as having a few other bad habits.
